From Heartbreak to Purpose
On December 6, 2023, Heather Ella Rise lost her daughter Kali Ashley — a vibrant, creative, butterfly-loving little girl whose imagination lit up every room she entered. Kali was 9 years old.
In the months that followed, Heather found herself searching for a way to keep Kali's spirit alive — not just in memory, but in the hands and hearts of children everywhere. The answer came in the form of a coloring book.
Coloring Kali's World was born from that love. Every page is a window into Kali's world: her butterflies, her crowns, her flowers, her joy. Every crayon stroke a child makes is a small act of honoring her.

Heather didn't stop at the coloring book. She founded the Coloring Kali's World Foundation to support families navigating child loss, raise awareness about pediatric asthma, and fight for Kali's Law — legislation that could protect other children from the same fate.
